Current projectI am a PhD Candidate at School of Environment and Science, Griffith University and the Coastal and Marine Research Centre and the Australian Rivers Institute. I am working on the Seajellies Research Lab with Prof. Kylie Pitt and Prof. Anthony Carroll, focusing on the chemical ecology of jellifish species off Australia.
Experience overviewIn 2017, I completed a BSc (Honours) in Marine Biology at ESCiMar, UNCOMA (Argentina). I worked with Dr Enrique Morsan and Dr María del Socorro Doldan, focusing on marine bivalves and their internal growth increments to describe population patterns and assess their potential as environmental archives.
In 2021, I earned a MSc (Research) in Marine Ecology at UCSC-Concepción (Chile). I worked with Dr Antonio Brante and Dr Reinaldo Rivera, studying the invasion ecology of sea anemones with ecological niche modelling. In 2022, I joined the NF-POGO Centre of Excellence in Observational Oceanography at the Alfred-Wegener-Institut (Germany). I worked as a young guest researcher, being trained in oceanographic processes and cutting-edge technology and tools. I also participated in an off-shore expedition along the East Atlantic (NoSoAT PS132) on board the RV Polarstern. |
